You May be Able to Use These to Cover Your Orlando ADHD Coaching (OAC) Sessions

What Can I Use My FSA, HRA, or HSA For?
Great news! You can use your FSA, HRA, or HSA cards to pay for both an Introductory Coaching Session and ongoing Private Coaching services.

How Does This Work?
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are fantastic tools, allowing you to set aside pre-tax money for eligible healthcare expenses. This includes out-of-pocket costs for health and wellness coaching services. As long as these services are recommended by your doctor for the treatment or prevention of specific conditions (like stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, OCD, obesity), the IRS permits the use of funds from your pre-tax accounts like FSA or HSA under Section 213.

Can I Get Reimbursed Through My Health Insurance?
It’s possible. Health and Wellness Coaching, when prescribed by a physician, may qualify for medical reimbursement under certain insurance types. This is thanks to specific Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes approved by the American Medical Association (AMA). To check if you’re covered, inquire with your provider about CPT codes 0591T, 0592T, and/or 0593T.

Should I Contact My Doctor or FSA/HSA Administrator First?
That’s entirely your call. While OAC can’t guarantee that your purchase will qualify as a medical expense, using your HSA/FSA card means you’re taking responsibility for ensuring it’s a qualified expense. You’ll also be responsible for any necessary IRS submissions and any potential penalties. If in doubt, it’s always wise to check with your doctor or plan administrator first to make sure everything is in order.

One. Contact your HSA/FSA Benefits Specialist/Administrator to find out if you are eligible to use the FSA/HSA card or be reimbursed for ADHD Coaching through OAC.

Two. Ask your physician to complete this Letter of Medical Necessity or write a prescription indicating your OAC sessions are part of a treatment plan for a specific medical condition, which could include ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, etc.

Three. Print and submit your payment receipts for reimbursement to your Insurance Company
